Getting Started

Our staff will meet onsite with you at your residence to provide you with an installation estimate. It will take us 20 - 30 minutes to determine an accurate estimate. All estimates come with a company and product information package that details our installation process.

We need customer involvement in the early stages of the design process to ensure that we meet your needs appropriately. Our staff will be able to explain to you the benefits of one product to the next. Next Rain uses products designed and manufactured by leaders in the industry (Hunter, Rainbird, Toro and Irritrol). All systems retract into the ground and out of sight when not in use. Typical systems are fully automatic and equipped with an automatic timer that allows for seasonal adjustments.  Next Rain chooses the best products from the leading manufactures to install for our customers. We sell exactly what we want to install in our own back yard with no preferences to one manufacture.

We currently install the MP Rotator whenever possible for residential installs, while providing our customers the upgrade options that include the Hunter Solar Sync, the Hunter MPR40 or the Hunter Pro Spray with check valve.  Included in all Next Rain systems is a wireless rain / freeze sensor that can be upgraded to the Hunter Solar Sync.  We install products that will not only save you money, but reduce your future maintenance cost while focusing on low water consumption.

Planning Process:

Site survey - Determine property size, boundaries and site challenges

System design capacity - Water pressure, meter size, & flow rate are determined

Effects of shade, slope, and soil are considered

Location and type of plant material

Water source - Determine the necessary plumbing requirements

Watering Zones - The water service from the typical residence cannot provide enough water to water an entire yard at once, so the system is broken up into multiple zones based on the landscape design, and / or the available system design capacity.
